DraftKings NBA Power Forwards:

Best Bets:

Anthony Davis ($10,100): This isn’t a great matchup against the Heat, but it’s not a bad one either. It was Davis, not LeBron, who did a bulk of the damage to the Heat the first time around. A.D. racked up 55.5 DraftKings points in that game. That’s about his ceiling here because Miami is a solid squad, but that’s still 5.5x value. I’ll take that from the upper tier.

Paul George ($8,800): George was cold against Toronto. There’s always a risk of that happening. The dynamic between he and Kawhi is a lot different than between he and Russ. George is a better fantasy asset here because he gets to me more the scorer that he was in Indiana. I look for George to rebound in a big way against a team that gives up a ton of points.

Domantas Sabonis ($8,100): Sabonis has been nothing short of dominant lately. He has at least 45 DraftKings points in four straight and at least 40 DraftKings points in six straight. Did I mention that he’s playing the Hawks? If you weren’t high on him before, you have to be now. If this stays a close game, Sabonis is a lock for 45 again.

Honorable Mention:

Aaron Gordon ($6,700): Gordon’s recent run of hot play already had me thinking that his miserable start to the season was over. His outstanding game against the Lakers has me thinking that it could be here to stay. I know we’ve seen this from Gordon before, but it felt different in that Lakers game. He’s a strong play against Houston tonight even though he hasn’t been extremely reliant on scoring. The same goes for Jonathan Isaac, though I think Gordon’s floor is much higher.

Lauri Markkanen ($6,300): Markkanen still isn’t up to the standards that he set last year, but he’s not as bad as he was in the first month either. Despite the rash of horrible games, Markkanen somehow managed to beat up on the Hornets twice. he put up 77.75 DraftKings points in those two games. That puts him way over value, and Charlotte is actually allowing more points now than they were then. I really like the value potential on Markkanen here.

Dark Horses:

Ersan Ilyasova ($4,600): I have a feeling the Bucks will sit Giannis tonight, which would make Ilyasova almost universally owned. I don’t care. He put up 36.75 DraftKings points without Giannis on Tuesday. We can’t ignore that value. I would even consider Ilyasova if Giannis plays. This wont be a close game if Giannis plays. Even if he sits, it may not be close. Either way, Ilyasova should get solid court time.

Mo Harkless ($4,200): Harkless has 79.25 DraftKings points over the last three games. Some of that has to do with Green being out. Some with Shamet. At any rate, the Clippers are still short-handed tonight so Harkless should get decent run anyway. There isn’t a lot of upside here, but a sure 5x value is hard to find at this low of a price.
