Duds

D’Angelo Russell (at UTA – $7,700 on DK; $8,300 on FD): No Draymond means the Warriors are the Russell show on Friday. That could be good, but expect it to be bad given the matchup. He’s going to have a lot of attention on him and with the lack of options around him, I don’t seeing it ending well for him. There is better value with better matchups below him.

Andrew Wiggins (vs LAC – $7,200 on DK; $7,500 on FD): Wiggins has remained at a fair price and given consistent value. He might not hurt you in this game, but I definitely don’t think he helps. He’s going to be seeing a lot of Kawhi and George, and I don’t like his chances against those two. Maybe he gets you value, but there are stronger options who also have guaranteed value and much higher upside.

Anthony Davis (at MIA – $10,100 on DK; $11,200 on FD): Davis is at a higher salary than LeBron and that’s just something I can’t get behind. Davis is expected to be a top five scorer on the night and I don’t see it happening. It’s a tough matchup and a game where it feels like LeBron dominates with an all-around game while Davis silently chips in.

Kendrick Nunn (vs LAL – $6,700 on DK; $5,500 on FD): Nunn is coming off an amazing game, which has really inflated his salary for this one. Don’t buy into it. He’s shown some inconsistencies in this game and with the inflated salary, he’s a clear flight risk. The matchup doesn’t help as the Lakers have one of the top defenses. There are just too many red flags in this game for you to consider Nunn. He’s more attractive on FD.

Clint Capela (at ORL – $7,800 on DK; $8,800 on FD): Capela is always a double-double threat and it doesn’t look like Vucevic will return in this one, which should help Capela. But the Magic are good against the position and Capela hasn’t given you enough in recent outings for you to trust him in this spot. This feels like a big Harden scoring game and Westbrook always seems to play well against the Magic.
