DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Nikola Jokic ($8,600): Jokic looks cheap here, but he is still underachieving compared to what we were expecting. He only has more than 5x value, even at this price, once this month. He has the ability to dominate games, but rarely does. That makes Jokic about as frustrating to use as anyone, oh, ever. If you can deal with that, go right ahead.

Bam Adebayo ($8,100): The 37 that Bam put up last night against the Lakers is a bit of a disappointment, but we weren’t going to use him in that situation anyway. Dallas is not a strong team on the inside and Bam is just itching to throw some people around after last night. It wouldn’t surprise me if Bam put up 50 here.

Honorable Mention:

Jarrett Allen ($7,000): I hate the matchup, but wow, this is still tempting. Allen has averaged well over 40 DraftKings points in the last four games, all while playing under 30 minutes per game. Jordan may be a little safer since he’s cheap, but I have no desire to run someone at Gasol without a damn good reason. All has enough upside to grab my interest.

Jaren Jackson ($6,500): Jackson has picked it up over the last fortnight. He has at least 5x value in six straight games. He ravaged the Bucks last night and will likely do the same to the hapless Wizards tonight. There is tremendous upside here for the price.

Steven Adams ($6,200): Adams is finally picking up where he left off last year. His poor game against Portland is inexplicable, but he’s been ravaging everyone else. That counts for something, right? It does for me. Jokic is not a great defender. I have no issues running Adams at him.

Dark Horses:

Marc Gasol ($5,300): As per usual, Gasol stuffs the stat sheet in every category even though he’s not a prolific scorer on this team. He does enough to give him a high floor except against the most physical centers in the league. The Nets aren’t nearly as weak inside as they used to be, but there is still enough upside here with Gasol to run him at this price.

Brook Lopez ($5,000): Lopez has 60 DraftKings points in the two games against Cleveland so far this season. Value is surprisingly hard to come by on this slate, so if you can get something like this for this price, we have to take notice. BroLo’s output has been all across the board, so this isn’t without risk. We’re probably better off running Gasol.
