Duds

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (at DEN – $6,300 on DK; $7,000 on FD): SGA is consistent but he hasn’t shown much of a ceiling in recent outings. And that’s a concern against a good defensive team like the Nuggets. He is unlikely to hurt you because he’s at a good salary and can do a little bit of everything. But there are guys with higher ceilings below him that are more worthy to fill out your roster.

Andre Drummond (at HOU – $9,100 on DK; $10,000 on FD): The back to back for the Rockets is worrying, but they are good against the position and Drummond is rather inconsistent. If the Rockets have tired legs, Drummond will punish them in a big way. But I’m not sold given the Pistons inconsistencies. And definitely stay away from Griffin.

Zach LaVine (vs LAC – $7,600 on DK; $7,800 on FD): LaVine has been excellent in the last two games but it’s a tough matchup against the Clippers. Both teams are on a back-to-back, but the Bulls are at home, so maybe they benefit there. I just don’t like LaVine to do much scoring against a tough defensive matchup and his value lives and dies a lot of times with his ability to score.

Kevin Love (at MIL – $7,100 on DK; $7,500 on FD): Love has been good but also maybe a little bit checked out? At least in certain situation. He’s going to play hard, but this is a tough matchup against the best team in the league. And on a team where Love draws most of the attention, things aren’t looking good for him on Saturday.

Bam Adebayo (at DAL – $8,100 on DK; $9,200 on FD): It’s a back to back for Miami and Dallas are good against the position. He can do a bit of everything and the ceiling is high but I find there to be better value below him with Siakam, Lowry, Middleton and more. He’s unlikely to hurt you because he’s a fairly consistent player but find better options with a higher value.
