DraftKings NBA Centers:

Best Bets:

Good grief. Joel Embiid is playing the Nets and he’s not even five figures. I like what Jokic has been doing lately, but the Knicks held him in the 30’s the first time around. The Nets are going to be hard pressed to hold Embiid to double that. If you’re paying up here, pay for Embiid.

Honorable Mention:

Consider this a public service announcement: despite the strong play of Jarrett Allen, he is not matchup-proof! Many learned a hard lesson last night. The same lesson is available tonight for those that missed last night’s class.

Mitch Robinson put up 33.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. Robinson is still playing good minutes, but the recent surge by Randle has sucked some of Robinson’s production into Randle’s vortex. Robinson is still coming close to value at this price and isn’t getting in foul trouble. He’s a safe commodity right now even if the upside isn’t as high.

Dark Horses:

Marquese Chriss has obliterated the fairly strong fronts of both Utah and the Knicks, all while playing just half the game. Whatever has juiced up Chriss right now is well worth the money. However, I still don’t know that I trust it. Chriss would be a great value if he starts to show consistency.

The only other real option down here is to play with fire in the Lakers centers. Javale McGee is the safer pick, but I think I would take a chance on Chriss and the upside over both Laker options.
