DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($9,000): This is Dame Time. Lillard lit up the Warriors for 51.5 DraftKings points earlier this year. Now the bad news: Lillard has only hit that mark once in the last ten games. He has only hit 5x value twice in that time. The emergence of a scorer up front and with C.J. beside him limits Lillard’s upside. If he going to go off though, this looks like the place.

Kyle Lowry ($7,700): Lowry put up 42.25 DraftKings points in the first game against Detroit. Even with FVV out, Lowry hasn’t been the one picking up the slack. He’s still putting up good numbers, but there are players with higher ceilings at lower prices on this team.

Chris Paul ($7,500): Paul turned back the clock and lit up the Bulls on Monday with 60.5 DraftKings points. Memphis is a solid enough team, but if Paul is rolling like this, not much is going to stop him. I do think that some of it was a byproduct of the opponent, but it wasn’t all a fluke. Paul still has something left in the tank.

Honorable Mention:

Kemba Walker ($7,400): Kemba has been rather streaky this year. He caught Dallas on a hot streak earlier this year and put up 47.25 DraftKings points on the Mavs with Luka on the court. Walker has 111 DraftKings points over the last two games against two strong teams in Philly and Indiana. It’s safe to say he’s rolling again. He’s definitely worth a look against the Luka-less Mavs.

Dennis Schroder ($6,000): Schroder has been a beast lately. He is far outplaying SGA at this point, but the Thunder realize that Schroder is better coming off the bench. Schroder is shooting the lights out lately, nailing 64 of 121 shots this month. Keep using him until he cools off.

Jalen Brunson ($6,000): Brunson put up 26.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Boston, and that was coming off the bench. This is not an easy matchup by any means, but Brunson has been outstanding in the two games in place of Luka. Eventually his price will become unsustainable, but it isn’t quite there yet.

Dark Horses:

Jeff Teague ($5,800): I usually find it hard to trust Teague, but this is a nice matchup with a nice price to go with it. Teague has 88 DraftKings points over the last two games against two quality teams in the Clippers and Jazz. This is going to be a a very high scoring game, and even if Teague isn’t a huge part of the scoring, he’ll be dishing it out plenty.

Isaiah Thomas ($5,100): Thomas made a triumphant return on Monday, putting up 36.75 DraftKings points on Detroit. Ish had a nice game off the bench. Both of them are the same price, but Thomas is going to see a bulk of the minutes. We just saw Paul shred the Bulls. Thomas should do the same. Smith is a decent play as well, but only use Ish if using both.

Seth Curry ($4,700): This is tough because Curry only succeeds when THJ fails. Now the good news: THJ fails more often than Curry does. The issue is that we don’t know what’s going to happen until about halfway through the first quarter. It’s probably best to avoid this entire situation, but If Dallas needs scoring, Curry has been the one to provide it more often than not.
