123. . Safety. Dallas Cowboys. Xavier McKinney. 21. player

The Dallas Cowboys will head into their Week 16 matchup on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles with a clear path to the NFC East title. However, both teams sit at 7-7, and if the Eagles can somehow come away with the victory, it is going to make Week 17 quite interesting for both franchise.

Dallas has not played good football all season long, but on Sunday, they were able to notch their best victory of the season, as they blew out the Los Angeles Rams. That is the kind of talent this team has, but based on what we have seen as a whole this season, it may be one and done for them in the playoffs.

Sitting with the No. 21 overall pick, the Cowboys have to do something to address their deficiencies in the secondary, and Alabama safety Xavier McKinney is a good one. The Cowboys have talent at all three levels of their defense, but the safety spot is certainly a weakness, and one McKinney could fill from Day 1 at the NFL level.

22. player. 59. . Cornerback. Miami Dolphins. Paulson Adebo

With their second of three first round picks in 2020, the Miami Dolphins shift their focus to the defensive side of the ball. With this pick, which they got from the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade,  the Dolphins add a new cornerback, selecting Paulson Adebo from Stanford.

Adebo is a good-looking cornerback prospect, as he possesses great coverage skills, and has some of the softer hands of any defensive back in this draft class. The Dolphins have actually played solid football despite the fact the roster was depleted this season, and with head coach Brian Flores being a defensive-minded coach, Adebo makes sense here.

Miami has a long way to go in terms of building this roster up, but in this  mock already, they have added a franchise quarterback, and one of the better cornerback prospects in the draft, two marquee positions. They will select at No. 23 as well in this mock, and in 2021, they will hold two more first rounders as they look to rebuild this thing from scratch.
