DraftKings college football wide receiver picks December 20

Top Tier:

None of these teams really pass a lot, but Victor Tucker deserves the top pricing. He has 239 yards on eight receptions over the last two games. Buffalo’s pass defense is pretty strong as well, but I would imagine Charlotte will have to throw in this game. They should have more success doing so and Tucker will be a big part of it.

It took a while, but Utah transfer Siaosi Mariner finally became a big factor in the passing game down the stretch. Mariner had 22 receptions for 347 yards and four touchdowns in November. I think Love is going to use this game as his Senior Bowl, and put some good things on film for the NFL. Mariner will go a long ways towards helping his cause.

Middle Tier:

If Buffalo passes, chances are that Antonio Nunn will be on the receiving end. He has twice as many receptions as the next receiver on the team, but he has not scored a touchdown since week 10. That limits his upside.

Kent doesn’t pass a lot, but Isaiah McKoy is the guy they target when they do. McKoy has at least 13 DraftKings points in each of the last six games.

Bargain Shoppers:

With Utah State’s receiver corps, it’s Mariner and everyone else. Most of them have been very inconsistent. Caleb Repp has a touchdown in each of the last two games. Deven Thompkins has been the best receiver behind Mariner. Again, I think Utah State is going to throw more than usual as Love uses this as a NFL tryout session. I feel more comfortable with Utah State receivers than usual.
