DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($9,800): The Jazz have struggled defending the point, especially since Conley went down. Young has ramped it up lately, clearing 50 DraftKings points in each of the last two games. We know how high the ceiling is on Young, but we also know that his floor is the lowest of any of the elite options. How much risk are you willing to take tonight?

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,900): Dinwiddie’s floor is so high that pairing him with a star may be the way to go on this slate instead of trying to cram two stars in. Dinwiddie still has not been under 34 DraftKings points with Irving out. In fact, he has only been under 40 twice. That floor is higher than most stars, and certainly higher than Young’s.

Honorable Mention:

Dejounte Murray ($5,700): Murray has at least 26 DraftKings points in four straight games. Three of those have been over 30. His minutes are still rather sporadic. Honestly, I don’t know whether I can make heads or tails of the Spurs right now. Murray is still part of the future though, so he should get plenty of run here.

Donte DiVincenzo ($5,200): DiVincenzo has looked good starting in place of Bledsoe. He has 71.75 DraftKings points in 55 minutes in the two games with Bledsoe out. The price is getting up there, but it’s still not high enough to chase me off. You are going to get enough from Donte to feel comfortable playing him.

Dark Horses:

Rajon Rondo ($4,800): You’re going to have to reach to places on this slate that you normally wouldn’t go. The huge amount of stars on such a small slate dictates that. Rondo isn’t going to hurt you, but the upside isn’t that high either. He continues to contribute solid numbers across all categories, but not great numbers in any one. Still, I’ll take that for this price.

George Hill ($4,300): Hill was putting up decent numbers for the Bucks off the bench anyway. He is a little more valuable now that Bledsoe is out. The Bucks are content to let DiVincezo run the show, but Hill is still getting good minutes off the bench. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight and five of six. Hill seems like a safe value play right now.
