1. Mourinho gets win over old club Chelsea

The final game of the Premier League weekend sees Tottenham host Chelsea in the Jose Mourinho (London) derby. The Portuguese manager welcomes his old side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a match that could be full of goals.

Mourinho dubbed himself, “A Special One” at Chelsea and he more than justified that title with multiple Premier League titles and several cups over two managerial spells at Stamford Bridge. Now he’s looking like the special one at Tottenham as he’s brought some new life to a Spurs side that were struggling for inspiration this season.

Since Mourinho has taken over, Spurs have found the net 19 times in just seven matches. They’ll fancy their chances of adding to that tally this weekend when they host Chelsea. Frank Lampard’s side have hit a slight blip lately with three losses in their last five matches and it’s hard to see them taking anything from this matchup.

This is a huge test of Lampard’s coaching ability as he comes up against a tactical genius who will know best how to exploit a youthful manager’s gameplan. Mourinho was written off after his time in charge of Manchester United as an old manager with old ideas.

He noted that his time in charge at Old Trafford helped him to learn and grow as a manager and Spurs’ recent results would suggest that wasn’t just a positive word about his old club. This weekend he will look to dismantle another of his old clubs in order to draw level with them on points in the race for a Champions League place.

Tottenham sit three back from Chelsea in the league table and they’ll know that this is a great opportunity to get back into the top four. Lampard’s side will be competitive in this match but the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min will have too much for the Blues as Tottenham run out 3-1 winners.
