DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Kyle Lowry ($8,500): Lowry turned in a triple-double on Wednesday to be one of the best values of the night. Washington is even worse in the backcourt than the Pistons are. VanVleet may not play and Powell, Siakam, and Gasol are all out. Lowry is going to dominate the usage here and be worth this price tag.

Kemba Walker ($8,300): Kemba gets to take on the team that Lowry torched on Wednesday. Boston isn’t as beaten up, but Kemba is better when he shoulders more of the load anyway. The absence of Smart allows him to do that. I’m going to run both he and Lowry in one lineup because it’s hard to choose between them.

Honorable Mention:

De’Aaron Fox ($7,000): Technically, Fox was on a minutes limit and he did come of the bench as stated in his return. Fox still played 30 minutes and put up 37 DraftKings points on Charlotte. He is picking up right where he left off on November 8. Indiana isn’t a great matchup, but it isn’t that bad either. Fox doesn’t seem to be limited, and should hit 5x value even if he is still on a minutes limit.

Jalen Brunson ($6,400): It is possible that Brunson is matchup-proof right now. Most of his value is tied to his good passing skills and outstanding rebounding on the perimeter. Brunson has come pretty close to a triple-double in two of the three games with Luka out and has at least 36 DraftKings points in all of those. He is still underpriced, so I’ll still use him against Philly.

Dennis Schroger ($6,200): Schroder has not been under 25 DraftKings points since Thanksgiving and has cleared 30 in all but one of those games. That still means that 5x value is his floor, and he’s often closer to 6x. SGA is wildly inconsistent and CP3 isn’t a lot better. I’m riding the consistency of Schroder.

Dark Horses:

Collin Sexton ($5,500): Sexton is fine so long as you don’t use him against a good team. Memphis is solid, but not so much guarding the perimeter. Sexton’s upside isn’t all that big, but he has been more consistent than not because the Cavs desperately need his scoring. That’s good news for us DFS players.

Michael Carter-Williams ($3,600): The issue with Fultz hasn’t been scoring. He’s still doing that. Fultz just isn’t distributing the ball well. The Magic are still preserving him, so they are running MCW off the bench with a lot of success. MCW has at least 20 DraftKings points in five straight and six of seven. This doesn’t look like a fluke anymore. That’s his normal output. There’s no upside, but something can be said for certain value at this price as well.
