NXT Women’s division

10. Tegan Nox

Everything on the Nox front has been quiet. She should be making her first appearance back since Takeover War Games in early 2020.

9. Santana Garrett

Garrett was unsuccessful vs. Io Shirai this week. However, there was a lot to like from her performance. More character development would be a nice addition to see her vault into a reputable feud.

8. Xia Li

Xia Li wasn’t in action this week, but I expect a shift in her character in the new year. Her mixup with Shayna Baszler could push her to new heights.

7. Candice LeRae

LeRae hasn’t been in action since facing Dakota Kai. LeRae should be back in early 2020.

6. Bianca Belair

Belair wasn’t in action this week, but let it be known she had her eye on the women’s title match. Belair may be in line for a No. 1 contender’s opportunity.

5. Mia Yim

Mia Yim enjoyed a bit of retribution last time we saw her. Her focus is still on Dakota Kai and another matchup between the two will likely take place in January.

4. Dakota Kai

Kai was successful over Mia Yim, though you couldn’t tell after the match. Kai is racking up the wins since her change. Perhaps she can draw the attention of the champion.

3. Io Shirai

Shirai returned and made light work of Santana Garrett. She’s still extremely over with the crowd despite being a heel. Shirai has seven matches nominated for NXT awards. A high-profile feud should be on the way.

2. Shayna Baszler

The mighty has fallen. Shayna Baszler dropped the women’s title after ruling the division for almost two years. Baszler is cemented among the greats within NXT. It’ll be interesting what happens with Baszler now that we’re approaching Royal Rumble season. She could reignite her rivalry with Becky Lynch or will we see her become Shayna three-time?

1. Rhea Ripley

The culmination of all of Ripley’s recent success came full circle. Ripley is the only one to hold the NXT UK women’s championship and the NXT women’s championship. All after winning the first-ever women’s War Games contest and winning huge at Survivor Series. The sky is the limit for Ripley, and she’s only 23 years old.
