DraftKings college football quarterback picks December 26:

Top Tier:

Mike Glass is the highest priced QB on the slate and has some decent wheels, but he hasn’t seen a defense like this. I didn’t use anyone against Pitt’s defense this year. No one. I’m not about to start now.

Middle Tier:

I find it comical that J’Mar Smith is $1,000 less than Glass. Yes, I know Miami’s defense is tough. When they show up, that is. The Hurricanes stumbled down the stretch and are going to a bowl that is practically a road game that they couldn’t care less about. I really like Smith here, tough defense or not.

Kenny Pickett is fairly priced for the matchup, but I tend to think that Pitt is going to put the onus on the run game and grind this out more than relying on Pickett to win. I still think Pickett has a solid game against one of the easier defenses he has faced this year, but he’s probably not going to get you what you want for this price. I expect a more conservative approach in the passing game.

Bargain Shoppers:

Manny Diaz has done the unthinkable and opened up the Miami quarterback competition again before the Bowl game. Both Jarren Williams and N’Kosi Perry looked good at times this year. They also both looked really bad. I’m going to use whichever one wins the job unless Diaz says that both play. It’s a good matchup against La Tech.
