DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

James Harden ($10,700): This is almost cheap for Harden. The Nets did a really good job on him the first time around, but they had no answer last night. This is the time to jump on the Harden train. He is hitting 50% or better from the floor in each of the last five games. Houston doesn’t blow anyone out, and the Pelicans don’t guard anyone. This looks like Harden’s type of game, especially with Russ out.

Jrue Holiday ($7,800): Yes, I said the Pelicans don’t defend well, but Harden is no Dennis Rodman on defense either. Holiday is going to have plenty of chances to put up some points. Holiday put up 48.25 DraftKings points in the first meeting. The Pelicans getting healthy hasn’t cut into the production much at all. Holiday has only been under 5x value at this price once this month. That’s a high floor and a good ceiling at a reasonable price.

Honorable Mention:

Terry Rozier ($6,900): It was Rozier, not Graham, that exploded on Memphis in the first meeting. Rozier had 53.25 DraftKings points in that game. That said, Rozier has only cleared 50 DraftKings points once since then. Graham does a lot more than just score. Rozier usually doesn’t. Construct your roster accordingly.

Gary Harris ($5,000): I have no interest in playing Bogdanovic roulette with he and Hield since Denver has allowed the fewest fantasy points to shooting guards this year. Instead I’ll play the guy on the other side. Harris is a solid producer on offense, but defense is where he really shines. Harris has 70.25 DraftKings points in two games against the Kings so far this year. That’s huge for this price.

Dark Horses:

Josh Hart ($4,200): Hart has lit up the Rockets for 70.75 DraftKings points over two games. Hart still plays right around 30 minutes per game. He doesnt’ offer a lot outside of scoring, but Hart is a good rebounder for a guard. he has a strong floor and good upside against Houston.

Austin Rivers ($3,800): With Russ resting, I would expect Rivers to start and play a good portion of his minutes. That isn’t concrete, and may not even last the entirety of the game since Harden can run the point. Rivers will get first crack at this though, and if he gets hot, he’ll clear 8x value.
