DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($8,500): The top two options at the point are out, which leaves Lillard as a consolation prize. Lillard was pedestrian against the Suns in the first meeting, only putting up 35.25 DraftKings points. The good news is that Lillard has over 50 DraftKings points in each of the last two games. The stats say he should do it again, but he didn’t come close the first time.

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,700): His 35 DraftKings points against the Rockets on Saturday was certainly a disappointment, especially since it was Dinwiddie’s lowest output with Kyrie out. The main reason for the relative dud was Dinwiddie’s poor shooting. He is just 11-36 from the floor over the last two games. He has a great chance to break out of that against Minnesota at a pretty reasonable price.

Honorable Mention:

Ricky Rubio ($7,200): Rubio had a big game against Portland in the first meeting, but that was with Booker out. Still, Rubio has topped 40 DraftKings points in five of the last seven games. He’s putting up numbers like that even with Booker playing and playing well. I can see Rubio have another good game alongside Booker.

Gary Payton II ($6,200): I don’t like the matchup for Payton, but if Beal is out again, I still think we need to use him against the Heat. If Beal is out, it could be a full Wizards fade. Miami is one of the better all-around defensive teams in the league and it could get out of hand. There’s risk here, but Payton should hit value if Beal is out. If not, there are better places to attack.

Tomas Satoransky ($6,100): Satoransky was a total bust in both games against Milwaukee earlier this year. However, he came off the bench in both of those games. Satoransky is starting now, and he has between 35 and 37 DraftKings points in each of the last five games. I don’t care if Bledsoe is back. Satoransky looks like one of the safest options out there.

Dark Horses:

Goran Dragic ($5,200): Nunn has predictably cooled down now that the team is healthier, but Dragic has not. He is the fuel for the Heat’s second team. Dragic has at least 27 DraftKings points in six straight games. The price is way too low on Dragic. Sure, the upside is capped since he’s a bench guy, but if he’s blowing past 5x value, then what’s the problem?

Jordan Clarkson ($4,100): The Jazz didn’t trade for Clarkson to let him rot. He put up 27.5 DraftKings points in 25 minutes in his second game with the team. Clarkson is here to shoot and he has done just that. He has jacked up 25 shots in 46 minutes in his first two games with the Jazz. That gives him good upside since we know he is heavily involved in the second team offense.
