DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Donovan Mitchell ($8,400): Mitchell has always been somewhat streaky. He has been hot of late, putting up 103.5 DraftKings points over the last two games. A lot of that has to do with Mitchell finally putting up some good assist totals. The Pistons aren’t a really weak defensive team, but they don’t really have anyone that can stop Mitchell either.

Devin Booker ($7,500): As expected, Booker went nuts on the Kings on Saturday. He had a very productive weekend, putting up 99 DraftKings points in the two games. Portland is not a good defensive team anywhere besides center. Booker has a great chance to keep up the current hot streak, and his price hasn’t gone up much at all yet. It will if he comes up big again.

Honorable Mention:

CJ McCollum ($6,600): It was CJ who blew up the Suns in the first meeting, going for 50.5 DraftKings points. The going will likely be a little tougher with Booker present here. Even still, Booker is not a great defender. McCollum still has a chance at a nice game, though I doubt both he and Lillard do it at the same time.

Joe Harris ($5,300): The minutes remain constant for Harris, but the production is all over the place. That makes it really hard to rely on Harris, but the upside is as good as anyone because of the volume of shots he gets. What has been the determining factor is the peripheral stats or lack thereof. Harris has a strong game against Minnesota the first time around. Expect another one here.

Dark Horses:

Bruce Brown ($4,700): The Pistons haven’t updated anything on Reggie Jackson of late, so I doubt he plays again. However, Jackson has been listed as questionable for the last few games. He could return at any moment and mess up the value on Brown. Until then, Brown has at least 5x value in seven of the last ten games.

Tyler Herro ($4,600): Herro is still seeing good minutes. The production has been pretty solid of late and he torched the Wizards for 38.25 DraftKings points earlier this year. There’s a chance that Herro wont play 32 minutes again, but he should play enough to hit 30 DraftKings points. That makes Herro an absolute steal at this price.

Jordan McRae ($4,600): McRae played nice minutes with Beal out and responded with 32.75 DraftKIngs points in 29 minutes. McRae will get solid run anyway, but this kind of price hike takes away his shot at value if Beal is back. He is no longer a must-play option anymore. He may not even be if Beal sits.
