Memphis Grizzlies: Trade Andre Iguodala

A more practical resolution would be to continue grooming the youngsters like Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke, but that’s kind of a no-brainer for any rebuilding team. Instead, we’ll focus on Andre Iguodala, a guy the Memphis Grizzlies need to do right by with a trade.

No matter where you stand on the whole “Should the Grizzlies buy Iggy out?” question, it’s become clear they have no use for each other. Memphis is being selfish by not cutting him loose and instead trying to trade him (perhaps understandably so), but it’s pretty obvious he’s never going to suit up for this team.

To that end, locating a trade to a contender would be best for everyone involved. Plenty of teams out West would love to get their hands on his defensive, playmaking skill-set, and even if he’s getting rusty at this point, it’s high time the Grizz found a way to cash in on his diminishing value.
