Milwaukee Bucks: Win it all

You could easily make this the resolution for 5-10 other teams on this list, but nobody has more pressure on them to win a title in 2020 than the Milwaukee Bucks. Why? Because Giannis Antetokounmpo is only under contract for one more season after this, and speculation about his future in Milwaukee is already running rampant.

It’s silly, because the Bucks are the best team in the NBA and therefore as likely to win as anyone, but if they fall short in the playoffs again, and if Giannis is unhappy or unconvinced this team can truly go the distance, the upcoming 2020-21 campaign could be an uncomfortable ride where the constant buzz over his future quickly turns into rumors he’s going to leave in free agency.

At that point, the Bucks would be forced into making a panic trade to avoid losing him for nothing over the summer, at which point their title window would immediately slam shut. To avoid that entire ugly scenario, it’d just be easier if the Bucks won a championship, convinced Giannis to re-up for the long haul and nipped this thing in the bud before it grows out of control.
