Duds

Russell Westbrook (vs DEN – $9,600 on DK; $9,600 on FD): If Harden doesn’t play, then Westbrook’s ceiling goes up as he’ll likely get a triple double. But if Harden plays, stay away from Russ. He’s not great against the Nuggets in recent memory because it’s one of those teams he plays emotional against. And he’s rarely good when he’s emotional.

DeMar DeRozan (vs GS – $7,100 on DK; $7,600 on FD): The Warriors are good against the position and even though DeRozan can do a bit of everything, this feels more like a game where Aldridge has the big scoring output. There’s nothing wrong with DeRozan but there are players below him who offer more value or you’re better off spending on higher salary guys who higher ceilings.

Jamal Murray (at HOU – $6,800 on DK; $6,400 on FD): Murray is as inconsistent as they come and the Rockets present a tough matchup. He does seem to play well against Westbrook and that’s why I’m hesitant to fully call him a bust on Tuesday. But I can’t trust his inconsistency against this matchup.

Tristan Thompson (at TOR – $6,700 on DK; $6,600 on FD): Thompson is another inconsistent option and hasn’t shown a high ceiling in recent weeks. It’s a tough matchup compared to other players on the night. He’ll likely get you value, especially if Love doesn’t play, but I’m unsure how much he’ll help you beyond that.
