New England Patriots. Albert Okwuegbunam. 27. player. 47. . Tight End

The New England Patriots had a golden opportunity to get a first round bye in the AFC playoffs this past weekend, but could not get the job done against the Miami Dolphins at home. With that said, they still hold the No. 3 overall seed in the AFC, so they will get to host a Wild Card round game this weekend.

This has been a strange season for the Patriots, as Hall of Fame quarterback Tom Brady has looked average on plenty of occasions. If they are going to win another Super Bowl with Brady under center, they have to do a better job of bringing in some weapons in the passing game, and they should go after the best tight end in this draft class this late in round one.

That’s why the team should target Albert Okwuegbunam from Missouri, who is not only an excellent pass catcher, it is also adapt in the blocking game. This is not a guy who is ever going to replace the kind of production Rob Gronkowski gave this team, but it is a major upgrade over anyone they have playing the position right now.

Wide Receiver. Green Bay Packers. Jalen Reagor. 28. player. 49.

The Green Bay Packers were able to secure the No. 2 overall seed in the NFC this past weekend, although it took overtime against the Detroit Lions. In all reality, this is a Packers team that is going to have to play better if they are going to make it to the Super Bowl this season, as they have been up-and-down all season long despite their 13-3 record.

Looking at the roster, Green Bay has to go out and get Aaron Rodgers more weapons in the passing game heading into next season, and Jalen Reagor from TCU should be slated for the first round. Reagor would be a perfect complement to Davante Adams in the Packers passing game, giving Rodgers another solid option on the outside.

While Rodgers has not played at an MVP level this season, he is still widely regarded as one of the best quarterbacks in the game today. It will be interesting to see how the Packers do during the post season, as their defense was much better than advertise the season, but the offense has just been way too inconsistent from week to week.
