50. . Cornerback. Detroit Lions. Jeffrey Okudah. 3. player

The Detroit Lions wrapped up their 2019 regular season with a spirited effort against the Green Bay Packers, nearly ending their division rival’s hopes of getting the No. 1 seed in the NFC. However, they lost their 12 game of the season, ending the year in the cellar of the NFC North.

Of course, the season began to go off the rails once Matthew Stafford went down for the year, and they should be much better in 2020. Stafford was enjoying one of the better seasons of his career before being injured, and having him back healthy next season, the Lions should challenge for a top spot in the NFC North.

As it stands now, Detroit will pick at No. 3 overall next April, and they should look to bring in the top cornerback in this draft class, Jeffrey Okudah. The cornerback position has become one of the premier positions in football, and in Okudah, they would be getting a legitimate CB1, and a guy who could step right in and fix one of the bigger weaknesses on that side of the ball.

31. . Offensive Tackle. New York Giants. Andrew Thomas. 4. player

The New York Giants made swift changes on Black Monday, as they fired head coach Pat Shurmur after a two-year run as the man in charge for the G-Men. While they did keep Dave Gettleman, who many in the fan base blame for their woes, the search now begins for a new head coach, and there are some solid choices out there.

New York finished the year with only four wins, but they did have some bright spots, including rookie quarterback Daniel Jones. Jones was a surprising pick with the No. 6 overall selection last April, but he has all the skills needed to be a legitimate franchise guy at the NFL level, and has some shining moments in year one.

With their first round pick in 2020, the Giants have to do something to bolster the offensive line, as it was downright atrocious at times this season. Andrew Thomas from Georgia is the best offensive tackle this draft class has to offer, and bringing him in would allow the Giants to move Nate Solder to the right side, where he could be elite.
