NFL DFS – FantasyDraft Best Plays – D/ST

Core Plays

Tennessee Titans ($5.3k)

For me, I generally find the most success in DFS by paying down for a D/ST. This gives you more flexibility to construct the rest of your roster and allows you to load your lineup with some of those studs. The Titans sit around the middle of the pack at $5.3k, and you can make the argument they bring the most upside of any D/ST on the slate going against the Pats. New England’s offense is a shell of its former self and Tennessee ranked in the top-10 in takeaways during the regular season.

Philadelphia Eagles ($4.9k)

While Philly’s secondary may have it’s issues, their front-seven has remained one of the strongest in the NFL. In 2019, the Eagles limited opposing rushing attacks to just 90.1 yards per game, third-fewest in the league. They also come in allowing the 10th-fewest total offensive yards per game. Seattle will have to throw the ball, and Philly is expected to send plenty of pressure Russell Wilson’s way after notching 44 during the regular season.

Value Plays

Minnesota Vikings ($4.6k)

The Vikings’ D/ST is an incredibly risky play going against the offensive juggernaut of the Saints, but if you believe this will be more of a defensive battle, then you can absolutely justify rolling the dice with them. Minnesota’s D/ST scored the fifth-most fantasy points in the league this season and come into this game as the lowest-priced unit on the entire slate.
