Duds

Kevin Love (vs OKC – $7,300 on DK; $7,000 on FD): Love continues to underperform based on salary, but the price has dropped, which is the good news. The bad news is that OKC is a tough matchup who can make life difficult on Love. I also don’t know where his mind is with the trade rumors swirling as well. He probably won’t hurt you, but the ceiling is limited.

Nikola Vucevic (vs UTA – $7,900 on DK; $8,200 on FD): Vucevic is typically consistent, but a matchup against Gobert is not an easy one. Vucevic didn’t have a good game against Gobert earlier this season, which must be taken into account. It’s also a back to back for Orlando. Just too many factors seemingly working against the Magic in this one for me to trust Vucevic.

Nikola Jokic (at WAS – $9,400 on DK; $8,900 on FD): This is a great matchup for Jokic and we know his ceiling is high. Chances are, he’s going to have a big outing because he’s up against the Wizards. But if he doesn’t, and there are enough signs to show that he won’t be able to do as of late, it’s a big price to get a dud player. He’s a risk if you’re willing to take it but the red flags are evident.

Devonte Graham’ (at DAL – $7,600 on DK; $7,400 on FD): Graham has underperformed a bit in his last couples of games and even though his salary has dropped, its a tough matchup against the Mavericks, who are good against the position. There’s also the Rozier factor, who has a high ceiling and is at a lower price. Either the price needs to come down on Graham or the consistency needs to return.

Lonzo Ball (at SAC – $6,500 on DK; $5,700 on FD): Did you know that Lonzo is afraid of Fox? There is a good chance that he doesn’t even play in this game because of that. But assuming he does play, he’s not worth taking. The inconsistency looms and this price is only high because of a great game against the Rockets, a team he always dominates. There is better value below him.
