DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Devin Booker ($8,800): Booker is pretty much a free space against the Kings. He has played Sacramento three times already this year and has 149 DraftKings points against them. Booker is going to flirt with 50 again here. That’s a given. Booker’s streak of 30+ point games is not at a franchise-record six. It hits seven here.

Andrew Wiggins ($6,900): Wiggins has 88.5 DraftKings points in the two games against Memphis this year. That’s an impressive return for this price. I don’t know if the status of Towns matters or not. I really don’t think it does. Wiggins is going to own this game regardless.

Honorable Mention:

Derrick Rose ($6,400): Rose put up 28 DraftKings points in just 21 minutes against Detroit the first time around. The team is in a tailspin. Blake may miss the rest of the season. Drummond is front and center in trade rumors. Reggie Jackson’s timetable for a return is almost a month past due and still no word. This team is packing it in with the exception of Rose. I expect another strong game from Rose as the shift leader of the skeleton crew.

Shabazz Napier ($6,100): It doesn’t matter who’s back or who isn’t. The only thing I know for sure is that Wiggins and Napier are two of the starting five. Napier has at least 36 DraftKings points in four straight games. I know Minnesota does dumb things from time to time, but they’ll have a full-blown mutiny in the fan base if they move Napier back to the bench right now. He’s the heart of the offense with Towns out, not Wiggins.

Collin Sexton ($6,000): Forget about the matchup here. Detroit is a mess and Sexton put up 34.5 DraftKings points on them the first time around before his recent offensive revolution sparked by the trade of Clarkson. Sexton’s minutes are way up and so is his production. Still, don’t expect miracles. Sexton is mostly a scorer. That’s why they’re running Garland at the point.

Dark Horses:

Joe Harris ($5,100): Even when LeVert made his return last weekend, Harris still put up good numbers. He’s not going to put up anything great, but Harris constantly has between 25 and 30 DraftKings points. Harris is probably better as a cash play, but he’s not going to hurt you in GPP’s either.

Svi Mykhailiuk ($4,200): Svi is another guy that is getting good run in Detroit with all of the injuries. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight and six of the last seven. I doubt Cleveland can stop him either. Mykhailiuk doesn’t have a ton of upside, but he’s a certain 5x value right now.

Anfernee Simons ($4,200): Simons went for 29.5 DraftKings points with CJ out on Sunday. I’m hoping CJ misses again because Simons almost seems more consistent. I really like Simons for the price, but only if CJ is out. This is one we’ll have to play by ear.
