player. 54. . Cornerback. Philadelphia Eagles. Kristian Fulton. 21

The Philadelphia Eagles were able to clinch the NFC East late in the season, thanks to victories over two division rivals in the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. The Eagles went into the playoffs hosting a Wild Card round game, and while they gave it their all against the Seattle Seahawks, they could not overcome another injury to star quarterback Carson Wentz.

As they enter the offseason, the Eagles have a lot of work to do in terms of the roster, including bringing in some help at the cornerback spot. Kristian Fulton from LSU is widely regarded as one of the best cornerbacks in this draft class, and would be a perfect fit on an Eagles secondary that was beaten far too often in 2019.

The fact that Wentz went down due to injury was a sad end to the Eagles season, as they had to roll with Josh McCown against a tough Seattle defense. The NFC East was a joke this past season, but the Eagles have the talent to get back to the top again in 2020, but they have to do something to shore up their secondary. Fulton helps them do just that.

Edge. Buffalo Bills. Curtis Weaver. 22. player. 16.

The Buffalo Bills were one of the better teams in the AFC all season long, and clinched the No. 5 overall seed in the conference when it was all said and done. Second-year quarterback Josh Allen made big strides this past season, but against the Houston Texans in the Wild Card round, it looked like the moment got too big for him.

Still, this was a season that should bring Bills Mafia a lot of confidence moving forward, as the Bills were solid on both sides of the ball in 2019. On defense, they got great production from rookie defensive tackle Ed Oliver, and in 2020, it would be wise to add one of the premier edge rushers in this draft class.

Curtis Weaver from Boise State is a downright beast coming off the edge, and with how good this Bills secondary is, putting pressure on the quarterback will make this defense even more dangerous in 2020. There is a good chance this is the team to beat in the AFC East next season, and overall, the 2019 season has to be seen as a positive.
