Kansas City Chiefs. Trevon Diggs. 29. player. 124. . Cornerback

The Kansas City Chiefs backed into the No. 2 overall seed in the AFC in the final week of the season, thanks to the Miami Dolphins beating the New England Patriots on the road, and them taking care of business against the Los Angeles Chargers. With one of the better quarterbacks in football, and a defense playing much better, the Chiefs could be the team to beat in the AFC.

In order to get to the AFC title game, they will have to take care of business at home this Sunday against the Houston Texans, who are fresh off a victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card round. If the Chiefs are going to punch their ticket to the AFC final, they have to corral Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was Superman against the Bills on Saturday.

One are that has hurt this team all season long has been the play of their cornerbacks, so adding Trevon Diggs from Alabama this late in round one makes a lot of sense. The run defense was much better than advertised this season, and the defense as a whole played well down the stretch, but they need a long-term solution at corner, and Diggs is just that.

player. 49. . Tight End. Green Bay Packers. Albert Okwuegbunam. 30

The Green Bay Packers will host the Seattle Seahawks in the final game of the Divisional Round weekend, and the hope is that they can punch their ticket to the NFC title game. The Seahawks are coming off a solid road victory against the Philadelphia Eagles this past Sunday, but beating the Packers at home in the playoffs is a whole other story.

Green Bay played well all season long, racking up 13 wins behind first-year head coach Matt LaFleur, and future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers. However, there were kinks in the armor all season long for this Packers offense, and it would make sense that they would add a playmaker in the passing game this April.

One tight end to keep an eye on is Albert Okwuegbunam from Missouri, who is not only an excellent blocker, but the kind of pass-catching tight end Rodgers could really utilize moving forward. Rodgers had his best seasons when he has an elite tight end, and when all is said and done, this could be the premier tight end in this draft class.
