NFL DFS: FantasyDraft best plays for the divisional round
NFL DFS – FantasyDraft Best Plays – Tight End
Core Plays
George Kittle ($12.8k)
Travis Kelce ($13.3k) comes into the Divisional Round as the highest-priced tight end on the slate, but you could argue Kittle makes for the better play at $500 less. While you really can’t go wrong with either player here, Kittle has been an absolute target hog, compiling 31 receptions over his past four games, averaging 20.8 FPPG over that stretch. Jared Cook enjoyed a solid game against Minnesota last week, and the Niners should lean heavily on the third-year TE to deliver.
Mark Andrews ($11.3k)
Although Kittle is probably my top play at the tight end position, Andrews isn’t far behind and comes in at $1.5k cheaper. He’s been limited in practice this week nursing an ankle injury, but he’s got elite upside as Baltimore’s focal point in the passing game – especially near the goal line. Andrews has had a nose for the end-zone lately, catching seven touchdowns in his last seven games. He’s a great cash-game and GPP play if you’re trying to save some salary.
Value Plays
Jimmy Graham ($6.8k)
This slate is loaded with sneaky value at the tight end position. Thankfully. FantasyDraft allows you two flex spots, allowing you to roster up to three tight ends if you’re really feeling brave. Graham isn’t all that sexy of a DFS target, but if you’re planning on loading your lineup with some top-end talent, you’ll need to pay down somewhere. On a positive note, Graham saw seven targets in his Week 17 contest and is a reliable veteran Rodgers can trust.
Darren Fells ($6.5k)
Like Graham, Fells doesn’t carry a ton of upside, but at a minimal price, he’s a decent flier who can easily exceed value if he reaches the end-zone. Fells should remain the third option in Houston’s aerial-attack, especially if Fuller misses another game. Last week, he drew five targets from Watson, hauling-in four of those for 37 yards. Like I’ve mentioned, this game should be a high-scoring affair, and maybe – just maybe – Fells can get a piece of the pie.
