NFL DFS bargain bin: Divisional Round Quarterbacks

Ryan Tannehill, TEN at BAL                                                                            (DraftKings- $5,400/FanDuel-$7,800/FantasyDraft-$10,600/Yahoo-$21)

With the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson on this slate, there’s really one truly value-priced option. That would be Tannehill, who faces an unpleasant matchup on paper, to put it mildly. The Ravens allowed a stingy 212.8 passing yards per home game for the season, but they yielded an absurd 156.0 per contest over the last three games of the regular season, although it didn’t hurt they faced Baker Mayfield and Devlin Hodges in two of those contests.

Tannehill threw for multiple touchdowns in each of his last seven regular-season games before Derrick Henry took over in last week’s Wild Card win against the Patriots’ lockdown defense and Tannehill finished with a minuscule 72 yards. That’s highly unlikely to come close to happening again, even considering Baltimore’s own highly capable secondary. It’s worth noting Tennesee wasn’t shy about allowing Tannehill to let it fly during the regular season, as he finished with the third-highest average intended air yards (9.7) per attempt. As the only true salary saver at the position — and with Tennessee potentially set to be more aggressive than in last week’s game against a sluggish Patriots offense — Tannehill is still worthy of consideration as potentially the lowest-owned option at quarterback this weekend.
