DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Trae Young ($10,300): This is a good matchup for Young if he’s able to play without limitations. He’s one of the few stars on this slate that I would consider. I don’t see a must-have play that I’ll have 100% exposure to, but there are plenty of good options. Young has the highest upside if he’s able to play.

Kyle Lowry ($8,200): Even with VanVleet and Siakam sidelined, Lowry’s numbers haven’t really been inflated. They are still good enough that he is usually worth the price. Usually. Lowry hasn’t shot above 32% from the field yet this month. If the shots finally start falling, Lowry could be in for a big night.

Honorable Mention:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($7,500): Dinwiddie has abused the Hawks for 97 DraftKings points in 68 minutes against them so far this year. There may not be a reason to wait on the status of Young. Sure, his upside is higher, but Dinwiddie is almost $3,000 cheaper and is averaging almost 7x value against tonight’s opponent.

Ja Morant ($7,400): It’s usually around this time of year that the rookies really start to figure things out. Morant has at least 40 DraftKings points in three straight games and has 76 DraftKIngs points in two games against the Warriors so far this year. Dinwiddie at around the same price has me less high on Morant, but I may run both togethter to see what happens.

Dark Horses:

Alec Burks ($5,400): Burks has 85.75 DraftKings points in two games against the Grizzlies this year. I’m less interested in Burks if Russell isn’t on a minutes limit, but he’s still cheap enough to give him a look. Bowman was also demoted back to the G-League, so Burks should still get decent playing time. Burks has not been all that efficient or consistent, but the run he’s getting makes him worth a dart throw.

Bryn Forbes ($4,000): Forbes has back to back games with over 15 actual points for the first time all season. He has been kind of streaky and the playing time somewhat sporadic, but lots of Spurs guards get run. Forbes wont get big minutes or huge numbers, but he has been over 6x value in the last two games. We shouldn’t ignore that.
