Duds

Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs NY – $12,200 on DK; $11,300 on FD): This is really about the matchup for Giannis as there is blowout potential in this game and that worries more. This feels more like a game where the Knicks role players get it going. Giannis will never hurt you but will he finish as a top 3 scorer? I have my doubts.

Kyrie Irving (vs UTA – $8,600 on DK; $8,000 on FD): Kyrie looked on form against Atlanta. But that was Atlanta. And Atlanta without Trae so they didn’t even have the offensive firepower to change the game. Utah is not Atlanta. It’ll be much tougher for Kyrie and I’m still concerned about him coming off the injury with this matchup.

Jonas Valanciunas (vs HOU – $7,300 on DK; $6,700 on FD): Valanciunas is always a double double threat but the Rockets are great against the position and they’re better with Harden than Westbrook. There will be more Harden in this game with Westbrook our and that’s going to slow the game down, which isn’t great for Valanciunas and his rebounding. He may not hurt you but the ceiling isn’t high.

Draymond Green (vs DAL – $6,000 on DK; $5,900 on FD): The price is still too high for Draymond because he offers no consistency in any category. He’s always a low key double double and triple double threat but it’s the lowest of keys because he could give you 9-7-7 and that’s not enough for the salary.

RJ Barrett (at MIL – $5,600 on DK; $5,200 on FD): Barrett is an inconsistent option as it is and now he’s up against the Bucks, the best team in the league. It’s tough to trust him in this spot given the matchup and his rookie inconsistencies. The price isn’t too terrible but there are better value options with better matchups on this night.
