NBA Trade Deadline 2020: 5 trades to make the Miami Heat a contender

3. One of the best shooters on the market
Miami already has so much shooting — as of this writing, five players are shooting 38 percent or better on 3-pointers. Still, Bertans is one of the best shooters on the market and someone who is extremely comfortable not just spotting-up but running off screens and adding a little more dynamism to the team’s offensive sets. Bertans is currently shooting 43.4 percent from the floor on more than 8 attempts per game, feasting in Washington’s up-tempo attack. Like Gallinari or Morris, he could add juice to an offense that has tools but hasn’t found elite efficiency yet.
For Washington, Winslow might not be ideal when John Wall is back in the lineup. But who knows what kind of player he’ll be by the time he’s back on the court. In the meantime, he’s a nice fit next to the shooting and creation of Bradley Beal and Isaiah Thomas. He wouldn’t do anything to disrupt what the Wizards have started this season and could pay bigger dividends down the road.
