2. Another of the best shooters on the market

The Pelicans signed J.J. Redick and Derrick Favors this summer in anticipation of a playoff run, hoping to scaffold things around rookie sensation Zion Williamson. Unfortunately, the Pelicans have the second-worst record in the Western Conference and Zion has yet to play as he recovers from a knee injury. Redick is utterly expendable to them and in return, they’d get to try out Winslow as another handler alongside Lonzo Ball and Jrue Holiday.

Redick is much smaller but would offer similar benefits to Bertans — an elite shooter who adds dynamism with their comfort coming off screens and running curls in the middle of the floor. Minutes will be tight in the backcourt but the efficiency and space Redick could add to their offense could be extremely important in a tight playoff series.
