12. Bogdan Bogdanovic — G, Sacramento Kings — Salary of $8,529,386

It’s been a strange season for the Sacramento Kings, who have somehow drifted back into the basement of the NBA after taking positive steps in 2018-19. They thus become sellers again. That the Kings don’t seem interested in paying Bogdanovic when he becomes a free agent makes it likely that he’s the one they’ll sell.

In his third year in Sacramento, Bogdanovic hasn’t grown into the elite secondary scorer that the Kings may have hoped. He has fallen out of the team’s long-term plans with the rise of Buddy Hield and the sustained quality of Harrison Barnes. Still, Bogdanovic has intriguing talents. He is a surprisingly effective passer, and he has enough handling ability to run secondary pick-and-rolls and keep a team’s offense frisky. He has always been a very good distance shooter, and his mid-range shooting is a good bailout option for a playoff offense. He’d be a welcome addition to any offense that already has its foundational pillars in place.

Bogdanovic could help any contender that needs a little offensive juice. If the Mavericks think they don’t have enough ball-handling alongside Luka Doncic, Bogdanovic could fit in perfectly. If the Toronto Raptors or Los Angeles Lakers want a little more shooting, Bogdanovic would fit there, too. He wouldn’t change the structure of a team, like some of the other pieces on this list, but he would help almost anywhere.
