DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Devin Booker ($8,400): I strongly feel that LaVine is overpriced. He struggled last night against Philly, he’s on a back to back, and he was horrible against Cleveland in the first meeting. On top of that, LaVine averages 40 on the season, yet he’s above $9,000. Bookber wasn’t great against Boston the first time, but he wasn’t bad either. I’m not completely sold on Booker either, but I feel he’s a better value than LaVine or Harden. He just doesn’t have the ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell ($7,600): Conley’s return couldn’t have come at a worse time. Mitchell had one of the better games of his career on Thursday. Conley is probably going to cut in on Mitchell’s action a little, but it’s probably more detrimental to Ingles. I still think Mitchell is a reasonable price in a good matchup.

Honorable Mention:

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander ($7,200): SGA just got done lighting up the Raptors for 45 DraftKings points after his historic thrashing of Minnesota on Monday. It’s been a hell of a week for SGA, and he gets to polish it off with Portland for dessert. I’m all in here. Every lineup of mine with have SGA in it. I don’t think Portland gives him the Harden treatment.

Norman Powell ($5,500): Everyone but Lowry went berserk on the Wizards last night. Minnesota isn’t quite that weak, but they’re close. If VanVleet does return as planned, Powell’s value goes way down. I’m pretty sure that the Raptors are going to keep OG as a starter. I’m not sure that Powell will get enough production.

Damion Lee ($5,500): Lee made sure the Warriors didn’t regret their decision to sign him to a new deal by putting up 40.25 DraftKings points on a stingy Denver defense. For the record, that was more than Russell ended up with. Lee’s production doesn’t seem directly tied to what someone else does. That makes him more safe than many in his range.

Dark Horses:

Eric Gordon ($4,700): I don’t care who the opponent is right now. Grodon still has a high ceiling and this price is very low. If the Lakers do what the Blazers did to Harden, that will mean more chances for Gordon. I do expect most Houston opponents to start to double Harden and make others beat them until they prove with consistency that others can. That means great things for guys like Gordon in DFS.

Svi Mykhailiuk ($4,400): Someone has had to step up for Detroit, and is has been Mykhailiuk lately. Svi has 81.75 DraftKings points over the last three games. That’s well over 6x value and something you almost never find in a value pick. I’ll keep using him until DraftKings raises the price to an uncomfortable level. It’s not there yet.

Furkan Korkmaz ($3,200): It was a Furkan nightmare last night for those like me that flocked to Thybulle. Thybulle is still a decent option. He hit value without an issue. However, it was Korkmaz that put up the big numbers. He had 33.5 DraftKings points and is even more of a bargain against the Knicks tonight. Chalky Furkan is really dangerous though. Those who played DFS last year remember it well.
