Duds

James Harden (vs LAL – $11,200 on DK; $11,500 on FD): Harden can’t be worse than he was against the Blazers. In fact, he’ll probably have a strong outing. But will he be the top scorer on the night? I have my doubts given the team in front of him and the state of the Rockets right now. On a big night of action, there’s more value out there with guys whose ceiling is just as high.

Julius Randle (vs PHI – $7,700 on DK; $8,000 on FD): Randle has been playing well and might not hurt you but his ceiling isn’t high in this matchup and there are a lot of options out there on Saturday. And trusting the Knicks against anyone can be famous last words. Grab a guy with a higher ceiling and a better matchup on this night.

Ricky Rubio (at BOS – $7,500 on DK; $6,300 on FD): The Celtics are worse against the position than you might imagine given their overall defense. Rubio is coming off a big game but prior to that he was slightly under value. Devin Booker typically plays the Celtics very well and if he’s going to have his typical big game, Rubio could find it tough to find his spots.

Damian Lillard (at OKC – $8,200 on DK; $8,900 on FD): McCollum is going to put more attention on Lillard. It will open up even more opportunities for him but the OKC defense is solid and Lillard might have a tough time navigating things without the extra help from McCollum. If Adams and Ferguson are out for OKC, that does change things.

Dennis Schroder (vs POR – $6,400 on DK; $5,500 on FD): The Thunder is in a back to back and Schroder’s consistency has dropped off a bit. He also typically hasn’t play well against Portland, which has me concerned. Maybe he doesn’t hurt you much on Saturday but there are not guarantees with him and on a stacked night, you need a guarantee or a worthwhile ceiling and I’m not seeing it.
