DraftKings PGA – 2020 Farmers Insurance Open Values

7,300 Matt Jones

Jones is not my typical low price flier. However, Torrey is not a typical tract. Scrambling and around the green come in handy at difficult courses. Jones is the man when it come to short game. He is 14th in scrambling in this field and he is 5th in par 5 scoring. If his irons can get hot, I love how he sets up at difficult courses. He has decent course history to confirm that, with a T13 last year and a T31 in 2016 with an MC in 2018.

7,200 Talor Gooch

I could not pick Talor Gooch out of a lineup, but I will put him in mine. On difficult courses this guy ranks 4th in the field. He also ranks 5th in DK scoring at this event, albeit a small sample size. For 7,200 I am willing to take a flier on Talor. A T3 in 2019 and a T51 in 2018 are the youngsters lone results at Torrey. Can his third time be his charm?

6,900 Sepp Straka

Sepp played well last week at a course that I did not see fitting his style of play. I see him much better suited for Torrey. He ranks 7th in the field on difficult courses and he is puring his irons at recently, ranking 22nd in the field over his last 12 rounds. Sepp has only played the course once, but finished T13. Why not take a flier on a guy hitting it this well?
