87. . Defensive Tackle. Carolina Panthers. Derrick Brown. 7. player

There is a lot of speculation surrounding the Carolina Panthers about potentially moving up in the 2020 draft, as they, like so many other teams, want to get LSU quarterback Joe Burrow. With a brand new head coach in Matt Rhule, and questions surrounding quarterback Cam Newton’s health, it is no wonder they want to make a play for the guy widely considered the consensus first overall selection.

However, moving up to No. 1 from No. 7 may be too steep, so it will be interesting to see if they make a play for either Tua Tagovailoa or Justin Herbert. If they do decide to stay at No. 7 overall, they have to address one of their biggest needs, and that is getting better, and strong on the inside of their defensive line.

In order to do so, look no further than Auburn’s Derrick Brown, who is absolutely the best defensive tackle that this draft class has to offer. Brown is not only big and strong enough to stop the run on the inside, but he is also athletic enough to make plays in the backfield, making him one of the more versatile defensive linemen in this draft class.

32. . Wide Receiver. Arizona Cardinals. Jerry Jeudy. 8. player

This past week, it was announced that future Hall of Fame wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will be returning for a 17th season with the team, which is certainly good news for quarterback Kyler Murray. The franchise drafted Murray with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2019 draft, and despite his small stature, he actually was a very good quarterback for them as a rookie, and has what it takes to be a dominant player at the NFL level.

Even with Fitz returning, the Cardinals need more help at the wide receiver position, and that is where they should utilize the No. 8 overall selection in 2020. With this pick, the Cardinals should look to bring in a player who is widely considered the best in his position group, and that player is Jerry Jeudy from Alabama.

Not only can Jeudy beat you deep, but he has some of the best hands in this draft class, along with being an elite route-runner. For a young quarterback, all you are hoping for is solid weapons on the outside, and big bruisers protecting you, and with pick, the Cardinals at least bring in a guy who can eventually take the torch from Fitz down the road.
