2. Marcus Morris

God help the New York Knicks if they’re actually serious about holding onto Marcus Morris and the other veterans on the roster, because no team in the NBA should be selling off more assets at the 2020 NBA Trade Deadline than them.

Mook may have the reputation of a hot head, but he’s still producing for this miserable Knicks team, averaging a career-high 19.0 points and 5.4 rebounds per game. As if this weren’t enough, he’s also shooting a blistering 45.7 percent from 3 on a career-high 5.8 attempts per game.

Morris is still in his prime at age 30, he just wrapped up two impressive years with a playoff squad in the Boston Celtics and he’d have plenty left in the tank if he’s jettisoned to a more competitive team. Do the right thing, Knick:. Dump those veterans, acquire some picks, and let the few aging assets you have be free somewhere else so you can finally examine which of your younger players are actually worth a damn.
