1. DT Michael Brockers (Los Angeles Rams)

There are plenty of changes going on with a team that faced the Patriots in Super Bowl LIII. But unlike New England, the Los Angeles Rams failed to reach the playoffs this past season. A 3-0 start morphed into a very disappointing 9-7 finish and third place in the NFC West. Sean McVay’s club had its issues on both sides of the football, in particular on the defensive side as Wade Phillips’ unit had some success in terms of sack and turnover but struggled to stop teams from consistently moving the football and piling up points.

Hence, the storied coach and coordinator will not be back with the club this season and is currently looking for a new team. So could that mean some of the Rams’ potential free agents are prepared to move on as well as they transition to new coordinator Brandon Staley?

Could 2012 first-round pick Michael Brockers be getting setting to hit the open market or will the Rams use the franchise tag to make sure he doesn’t get away? The eight-year veteran comes with a solid 82.5 grade vs. the run courtesy of Pro Football Focus (subscription required). He’s also lined up in both the 4-3 and the 3-4 during his career and has come up with a respectable 23 sacks. The former LSU standout will be highly coveted if available.
