DraftKings NBA picks January 24: Kawhi or Russ?

DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:
Best Bets:
James Harden ($11,100): Harden is shooting like me from beyond the arc lately, hitting just three of his 23 attempts over the last two games. I can be excused since I don’t make millions and I’m 12 years older. I want to pull another fade of Harden, but he has destroyed Minnesota this year. In the two games against the Timberwolves, Harden has 128.25 DraftKings points in just 66 minutes. That’s hard to ignore.
Devin Booker ($8,700): Booker abused the Spurs for 52.75 DraftKings points in the first meeting. He’s not the only shooting guard to go nuts on the Spurs. They have been bad against the position most of the season. Booker’s run of down games recently has me nervous out this, but it’s the Spurs. Booker has really nice upside.
Honorable Mention:
D’Angelo Russell ($7,800): Russell can score with the best of them, especially on this team. The Warriors don’t always keep the game close enough for Russell to get a full compliment of minutes, but when they do, Russell is well over 40 DraftKings points. The Indiana defense takes a bit of a hit with Brogdon out. Russell should be flirting with 50 once again.
Derrick Rose ($7,600): Rose has scored 20 or more actual points in eight straight games and has topped 40 DraftKings points in five of those. He’s still got it, just in a different way than in his Bulls heyday. With Blake out, the Pistons need a scorer. Rose has stepped up big time.
Dark Horses:
Bogdan Bogdanovic ($5,200): Bogdan finally seems to be getting back up to game speed and his normal minutes. The Kings too it easy with him, but Bogdanovic has at least 20 DraftKings points in four straight. We know the upside he has if he goes off. That could happen against the Bulls. At the very least, Bogdanovic shouldn’t hurt us.
Derrick White ($4,900): You can argue quite successfully that White has been the best Spurs guard over the last week. Of course, Pop is finding minutes for Mills, White, Forbes, Murray, and Belinelli, so it’s really hard for any of them to find a groove. White has played at least 25 minutes in three straight, so it’s not a coincidence that the production is up. The only question is whether the minutes will.
PJ Dozier ($3,100): This is a trap, obviously. However, if Dozier is one of just eight players in uniform again, the Nuggets have no choice but to play him. Dozier has picked up 40 minutes over the last two games with 35 DraftKings points to show for it. That’s a nice return for minimum price.
