NFL uniform power rankings: The top 100 of all-time
90. 2018 Arizona Cardinals
There’s nothing wrong with this uniform, there just isn’t much right, either. The Cardinals have always been somewhat bland, and this rendition loses points for the stripes that tail off on the pants.
89. 1975 New York Giants
This is the only year the Giants wore the “ny” disco-style logo on their helmets. The following year, the team moved to the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J., and “GIANTS” was put on the helmet to scrub away any anger from New Jersey natives.
88. 2018 Seattle Seahawks
There’s a ton going on here. The lime green. The stripes coming into the chest. The pants having a weird stripe. These are almost so bizarre, it forces them to be cool.
87. 2016 Baltimore Ravens
When the Ravens go monochrome, they can have the look of pajamas. However, the purple tops and bottoms are the best combination, especially considering the purple pants have a thick stripe to break everything up.
86. 2018 Philadelphia Eagles
This is the second of seven Eagles’ uniforms on our list, the most of any team. These are solid, but they have nothing on the Kelly green look of the ’80s and ’90s.
85. 1990 Atlanta Falcons
Every time you look at these uniforms, you have to think about “2 legit 2 quit,” right? Atlanta changed from its beautiful red helmets and tops to all black, and while it makes for a tougher look, it’s a downgrade.
84. 2018 Detroit Lions
The Lions decided to jazz up the number font and add some more striping on the helmet and sleeves. It’s not bad, but the simplistic scheme that Barry Sanders rocked for a decade remains superior.
83. 1991 New Orleans Saints
You know what’s underrated? The Louisiana patch on these pants with the fleur-de-lis denoting where New Orleans is within the state. Nothing memorable about these specifically, but it’s a good uniform.
82. 1998 Denver Broncos
Let’s say this out front. The Broncos never should have changed their uniforms. We should still have the Three Amigos era, but these could have turned out much worse. The pants need a normal stripe and the piping through the shoulders is too much, but again, it could be worse.
81. 1972 Philadelphia Eagles
HELLO 1970s. The Eagles weren’t shy about changing up the look, and in 1969, they started wearing white helmets only for home games before making it a permanent change in 1970.
