50. 1980 Philadelphia Eagles

Stripes for the win. After being terrible for the better part of 20 years, the Eagles threw these uniforms on and behind Ron Jaworski and Dick Vermeil, went to the first Super Bowl in franchise history in 1980.

49. 1994 San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers are the only team in NFL history that won a Super Bowl wearing their throwbacks. The team was playing so well in them that they asked the league’s permission to wear them through Super Bowl XXIX. It was granted, and the 49ers rolled to their fifth title, smashing the Chargers.

48. 1981 San Diego Chargers

Another Chargers uniform, and another awesome look. The lightning bolt down the side of the pants is a great touch, along with them adorning the shoulders and helmet. It’s not the powder blues, but it’s still a beaut.

47. 2016 New Orleans Saints

You won’t see many color rush uniforms on this list, but the Saints’ road jerseys are awesome. The white is bright, the gold pops and the striping is impeccable. Really well done.

46. 1969 Washington Redskins

The spear on the helmet for Washington should be brought back at least once or twice per season. The rest of the look is solid as well, with burgundy and gold always providing a nice contrast.

45. 1999 Tennessee Titans

The Titans have never been able to match the great uniforms of their predecessors in Houston, but this was their best shot at it. When Eddie George was running the rock in these, there was style and flair.

44. 1996 Jacksonville Jaguars

Here’s a little-known fact: the Jaguars actually had to change their original helmet design because Jaguar, the car company, thought it was too close to their logo. The revamped look ended up being a winner, with Jacksonville giving us one of the NFL’s better looks right out of the gate.

43. 2015 Carolina Panthers

The black edition of the Panthers uniforms is definitely the best. Forget the bright blue, the black gives Carolina a nice edge and the blue pops as a secondary color. The helmet also shines more with this combination.

42. 1999 Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens don’t have a ton of different looks in their short history, but this is the strongest. Note the raven with its wings open on the sleeves, the Maryland crest on the pants and the current helmet still being employed. When you think of these uniforms, you think toughness.

41. 1957 Cleveland Browns

The black and white photo doesn’t do the uniform justice, but take a look at the helmet. The Browns actually have a thin white stripe down the middle and numbers on each side. It’s the only time that Cleveland ever had decals — other than stripes — on the helmet.
