Scrubs

Buddy Hield (at MIN – $6,600 on DK; $6,300 on FD): Coming off the bench has seemingly helped Hield as he can take on opposing bench players. And he’s better than the majority of guys coming off the bench. The salary might be a tad too high on DK but its at a good price on FD. He won’t hurt you and the ceiling is high given the matchup.

Bojan Bogdanovic (vs HOU – $5,900 on DK; $5,800 on FD): Bogdanovic has been a bit up and down but with the circumstances surrounding the Rockets in this game, he should be able to take advantage of them. You can also go with Joe Ingles in this spot. There’s some value across Utah given the circumstances and the fact that Utah is great against these weak teams.

Larry Nance (at DET – $5,400 on DK; $5,100 on FD): Nance has a high ceiling and this is a great matchup for him. He’s been playing great in recent games and he remains at a very good salary. He hasn’t been good against the Pistons this season, which is certainly a red flag. But I’m not going to write him off based on those performances based on his recent games and how much the Pistons have fallen.

Svi Mykhailiuk (vs CLE – $5,000 on DK; $4,500 on FD): Svi is inconsistent but this is a great matchup. He always gets the minutes and he does have a high ceiling. He’s also at a good price. There should be plenty of offense or rebounds to go around in this came and Svi can get his offense while chipping in with rebounds. You can also look at Sekou for the rebounding portion.

Eric Gordon (at UTA – $6,900 on DK; $4,400 on FD): DK was wise to Westbrook sitting and Harden being doubtful, so they bumped Gordon’s salary. FD wasn’t as quick, so take advantage of that. There’s plenty of great value on the Rockets with their low salaries and the opportunities they’ll get with Westbrook and likely Harden out.
