Scrubs

Michael Porter Jr (at MEM – $6,200 on DK; $5,300 on FD): The Grizzlies are very good against the position, but MPJ has played consistent basketball since getting regular minutes. He’s right at the salary line but his value is high considering he can do a bit of everything. He’s not going to hurt you and his ceiling is much higher given his usual level of play.

Dillon Brooks (vs DEN – $6,000 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Brooks can be inconsistent but he’s had some monster games in recent weeks and though his salary has climbed, he’s been a strong high ceiling option for the majority of the season. Denver is a tough matchup but they are inconsistent with their defense. There should be plenty of offense in this game.

Serge Ibaka (vs ATL – $5,300 on DK; $5,700 on FD): If you’re not going to take Ibaka, then take Powell. Both have good ceilings but can play inconsistent games because the Raptors are are a well-balanced team. But in this matchup, Ibaka and Powell offer very good value because the Raptors should have no issues getting points in this game.

Brook Lopez (vs WAS – $4,800 on DK; $5,300 on FD): Lopez isn’t going to hurt you at this price and with this matchup. And given the matchup, he should have no issue getting his points while chipping in with rebounds. He rarely lacks for opportunities and that obviously helps as well. He’s a nice safety net on a good night of action.

Matisse Thybulle (vs GS – $4,700 on DK; $4,400 on FD): Thybulle has rarely shown a high ceiling. But he’s at a safe price with a good matchup. And he gets the minutes and opportunities as a starter in Philadelphia. He’s not going to hurt you at this price and with this matchup.
