DraftKings NBA Shooting Guards:

Best Bets:

Brad Beal ($9,400): Beal has 91.75 DraftKings points over the two prior meetings with Charlotte. That’s nothing compared to what Beal has done lately. Washington played four games last week. Beal cleared 50 DraftKings points in all of them. One was against the Heat and he cleared 60 against the Bucks. Beal will be in every lineup I make tonight.

D’Angelo Russell ($8,000): This is a tough matchup for Russell, but he is the only offensive option for the Warriors right now. They don’t have much of anything else, but they are managing to stay competitive and that’s basically on the shoulders of Russell. He’s a decent play on volume alone. Russell has at least 50 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. The only team that held him down was Utah.

Honorable Mention:

Fred VanVleet ($7,700): I haven’t used VanVleet any since his return, but this game against Cleveland is way too tempting. He is starting to get back to where he was before injury, and it’s already to the point that FVV is safer than Lowry. Neither are a bad play tonight though.

Terry Rozier ($7,300): Both Charlotte guards have fallen off since strong starts, but the Wizards are the kind of team that can get them both going again. Both did well against the Wizards earlier this year. Right now Rozier is playing the better of the two, but Graham has a better history against Washington. It could be tough to pick who has the better night tonight.

Donovan Mitchell ($7,200): I realize that Denver is very strong off the ball, but how is Mitchell this cheap? He has at least 5x value at this price in four straight and five of six since breaking out of his slump. This could be a game on the low end of Mitchell’s production over the last fortnight, but he should still be at 5x value with the potential for more if he stays hot.

Dark Horses:

Bogdan Bogdanovic ($4,800): We are playing for the potential that isn’t always there. Bogdanovic is very inconsistent due to his bench role, but that seems safer than putting a starter out there against the Clippers’ stout defense. I can see punting with Bogdanovic with value at a premium, but I’m still not crazy about it.

Shake Milton ($4,200): For now, Milton is still starting on one of the best teams in the East. Of course, his minutes are split between Thybulle and Korkmaz as well and whoever plays the best will likely get the most time. It’s really hard to build a lineup based on that, but with Milton getting the first crack at those minutes, he his the safest option with the best upside.
