DraftKings NBA Small Forwards:

Best Bets:

Kawhi Leonard ($10,800): This is a pretty penny for Kawhi, but if George remains out, he’s worth it. Kawhi has at least 60 DraftKings points in four straight and six of the last eight games. George will cut enough into that production even in limited minutes, and the matchup isn’t great enough that I would run Leonard out there anyway. He’s a lock if George is out though. Otherwise, he’s a decent play, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to use him.

Gordon Hayward ($7,500): Just like many of the Celtics, I’m really only interested in Hayward if Tatum is out again. For one, it should make for a closer game. Secondly, Tatum’s production is split between two or three different Celtics. It enhances the value of a few instead of just one. With him in there, it also diminishes the value of many instead of just one. Hayward’s price is too high if Tatum returns.

Honorable Mention:

Buddy Hield ($6,800): Hield is yet another one of those players that comes with a caveat. Will he draw Kawhi if George is out? Will he get George if George is in? It’s basically a big game of roulette. Hield did put up 35 DraftKings points in the first meeting with the Clippers, so he’s a solid play at this price. I don’t think he has a whole lot of upside though.

Draymond Green ($5,900): What is it with Draymond against tough defenses? He racked up 82.25 DraftKings points against Philly and Indiana and put up 34 against Denver last weekend. Green boasts a gaudy 37 DraftKings points in the first meeting with Boston as well. Look for him to get after it again here. When Draymond is on, he’s on.

Dark Horses:

Troy Brown ($5,600): One good part about Washington giving up so many points is that they often score a lot as well. Brown is the guy you want along with Beal. Those two were working well together before Beal was sidelined for several games. It took them a bit to get back to the level they were at, but Brown now has four straight games over 20 DraftKings points and has been well over that the last two games.

Landry Shamet ($5,000): The price is kind of a deterrent here. So is the return of Beverley. However, I’m more watching the status of Paul George. Shamet is likely still worth a look with Beverley in there, but if George returns, Shamet wont have much of a role at all. We have to keep a close eye on the injury report for this one.
