4. Mahomes tosses his 50th touchdown pass in style

The 2018 season was a tremendous one for Mahomes, who began the year with questions as to whether or not the Chiefs made the right decision dumping Alex Smith to hand him the job. Those concerns quickly evaporated as Mahomes went on to have an MVP year, highlighted by 50 touchdown passes and over 5,000 yards passing.

Mahomes tossed his final touchdown in a Week 17 matchup against the Oakland Raiders, and it came in grand style. With the Chiefs up 21-3 in the third quarter, Mahomes and company were facing a 3rd-and-10 from their own 11, a situation which often leads to a conservative play call to avoid a big mistake.

The Chiefs trusted Mahomes to take a shot, and he stepped up in the pocket to launch a bomb to Robinson, who caught it just over midfield and sprinted the rest of the way for the score. This was history-making, and Mahomes did it with some added style points.

3. Mahomes runs for about a mile before tossing an incredible touchdown against the Colts

You can skip about 16 seconds into the video for this one, which again came under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football. Mahomes and the Chiefs were facing the Indianapolis Colts, trailing 7-3 and facing a 3rd-and-18 from the Indy 27.

The play started off poorly as Mahomes was running for his life from the jump, scrambling all the way back to midfield before turning it back up the field. Mahomes got back to the 30 before launching a bomb into the end zone, which Byron Pringle caught for a miraculous touchdown pass.

The play was insanity as Mahomes showcased some real wizardry skills. The Colts did end up winning the football game, but no one will ever forget that play from Mahomes.
