Duds

Domantas Sabonis (vs DAL – $9,600 on DK; $8,100 on FD): Sabonis has been down a bit in his last couple of games. The return of Oladipo cuts into Sabonis’ opportunities and as Oladipo gets healthier and gets more minutes, Sabonis will be a guy who suffers. The salary is a tad too high right now given the circumstances.

Ben Simmons (at MIA – $9,100 on DK; $9,000 on FD): Embiid won’t be as bad as he was in the last game as he typically does very well against Miami. Meanwhile, Simmons typically struggles. One of them will likely be in for a dud game given how things have gone upon Embiid’s return and the matchup. I’m going with the guy who has struggled more historically.

DeMar DeRozan (at LAC – $8,700 on DK; $7,900 on FD): DeRozan slipped a bit in his last game and now he has to face a tough Clippers squad. The opportunities will continue to be there for him but it’s a tough matchup with a salary that is a bit too high given the value below him.

Jimmy Butler (vs PHI – $8,100 on DK; $8,300 on FD): Butler has been inconsistent against the Sixers this season but his last game was a big one against them. We know the ceiling is high but it’s still a tough matchup and Miami has so many ways to beat teams. The Boston guys below him offer mow value on this night.

Next. Le'Veon Bell needs out of New York. dark

Nemanja Bjelica (vs MIN – $6,000 on DK; $5,600 on FD): It’s not there for Bejlica right now. He’s getting the minutes and the opportunities are typically presented to him, but his shot isn’t going in and he isn’t doing enough elsewhere to make up the value. It’s a good matchup because the Timberwolves are horrid on defense. But there’s nothing proven with him right now.
