DraftKings NBA Point Guards:

Best Bets:

Damian Lillard ($10,300): Do you want to fade Lillard right now? He has six straight games of more than 70 DraftKings points. If that isn’t enough, two of those games were over 80 and one was over 90. Denver hasn’t been nearly as strong against the point with Murray out either. Even if Murray plays, I doubt he’s full strength. Things are lining up for another big night from Lillard.

Honorable Mention:

Devonte Graham ($6,800): Graham has slowed down since a fast start. However, he gets to face one of the faster teams in the league without their top point guard. The backup may be out too. Who’s going to guard Graham? It seems like the only thing that can stop Graham here is himself or a monster by Rozier.

Dejounte Murray ($5,000): There’s some price gouging going on on DraftKings. Morris has his price jacked up for one good game with Harris out. Well, Harris is back. Lonzo and Bledsoe are way overpriced. I’m not even a huge fan of Murray here, but he does have three straight games of 32 or more DraftKIngs points. That’s a hell of a bargain comparatively. The Spurs guards are always somewhat risky, but Murray is less of a risk than the others.

Dark Horses:

Donte DiVincenzo ($4,200): Another game, another 5x value for DiVincenzo. He doesn’t have high upside on this team, but his role and production are very consistent. Never underestimate that when chasing value. After all, you don’t want the 150 combined from Harden and Lillard to be wasted on a guy who comes in way under value. DiVincenzo is as solid of a value pick as you’ll find.

Rajon Rondo ($4,100): This almost feels like price gouging too. Rondo’s role is undefined. Once in a while he gets 28 minutes and puts up a line like he did on Saturday. Some games he’s lucky to hit 15 minutes. He and LeBron don’t really fit. That’s bad news for Rondo and his role going forward. Rondo is a terrific passer. If we knew he was going to get 25 minutes, he’s well worth this price.

Austin Rivers ($3,600): If the illness isn’t anything major, Rivers is a nice pick here. He’ll likely start in place of Westbrook if he plays. Don’t expect a ceiling game for Rivers as I don’t expect him to be 100% if he does play. However, this is a good matchup and a cheap price for a starter on an explosive team. You can do worse when dredging the bottom searching for value.
