Scrubs

Jerami Grant (vs POR – $5,700 on DK; $6,100 on FD): The frontcourt is a little thing for the Nuggets but Grant has provided stability in the position. The Blazers offense is rolling but they still give up points and Grant can pick up points and rebounds while chipping in with defense. The ceiling is high with this matchup and he’s the best option under the salary line in terms of ceiling.

Carmelo Anthony (at DEN – $5,500 on DK; $5,600 on FD): Melo has settled into a nice spot and you know he’s going to get his shots while contribute with rebounds. The Nuggets are a little thin in the frontcourt with his injuries. He typically plays well against the Nuggets, even if it doesn’t translate to team success. He won’t hurt you at this price and the ceiling is relatively high given his role.

Eric Grodon (vs CHA – $5,300 on DK; $4,900 on FD): If Westbrook is out then Gordon becomes the second option. It opens up opportunities for guys like McLeMore and House as well if you’d like to go with them. But Gordon gets more opportunities as the second creator whenever Harden has to sit, which is why he’s the smartest option, even if more costly.

Donte DiVincenzo (at NO – $4,200 on DK; $4,600 on FD): There might be guys with higher ceilings such as Josh Hart or Dejounte Murray. But they lack consistency and the matchup isn’t great for them. Donte is a player who gets the minutes and provides some consistency at a good price. He’s not going to hurt you at this price and while you’d like his ceiling to be higher, he helps you spend elsewhere while providing guaranteed value.
